Retin-A (contains Vitamins C & E)
Retin-A (Retinoic Acid) is an
anti-aging formula used to
reduce the appearance of fine
lines and wrinkles, increase the
thickness of skin and reveal a
smoother, younger-looking
epidermis. It is a perfect
anti-aging agent for people
prone to acne and is a mild skin-peel formula that acts on the
surface of the skin as well as
the deeper (dermis) parts of the
skin. Retin-A works by
activating cell changes in
retinoid receptors which in
turn bring about changes in
cells responsible for collagen
production, cell life and
growth. Retin-A also prevents
and slows the overproduction of
certain proteins that increase
as we age and contribute to
wrinkling and sagging skin.
Hydroquinone (contains Vitamins C & E)
Hydroquinone is a skin-bleaching
agent that is used to lighten
areas of the skin such as
freckles, age spots, acne scars,
and melasma. It aids in
correcting discoloration, evens
skin tone and enhances color
uniformity by decreasing the
production and increasing the
breakdown of melansomes (melanin
pigment granules) in the skin's
pigment cells (melanocytes).
